Securing your Android
hello everyone, its been a long time since my last post
Anyway , I am back with nothing much surprising but still some good old stuffs.
So it's about securing your Android.
Some might think that why I always post about Android ,well the answer is simple I am not an iPhone guy.
One should keep the following things in mind if they owe an Android:
1.Stick only to in built security mechanisms,never ever try third party app lock system like applock or something like that
some might raise the issue of privacy they believe they put to their gallery and whatsapp through these apps ,well TRUE ,they seem to secure your data, but they only "seems to" .In reality they can be very easily broken.
2.Make sure your phone is encrypted, "Encryption not always mean the things depicted in Mission Impossible movies."
3.I personally avoid patterns, use PIN to secure your on screen lock,Patterns too are secured but they are pretty predictable and they can be traced upon looking carefully at your phone's screen(coz they make impressions on the screen.}
4.If you are using Android 5.0+ versions, use data protection option in settings to secure your data,I think its the strongest vault for putting your sensitive files as even if the mobile formats ,your files remains in that vault.
5.Never use any malfunctioning App , Always use authenticated Apps as infected sites might deliver your binded apps.
6.Always check your browser history , sometimes browsers (uc mini in its initial periods) send http requests to various kinds of malware sites.
7.If you have any other tip , comment it
:)
